The Evil Ohio Republican Weasels are still working hard to bag the November election by any means possible. (See The Weasels Are At It Again)
According to an article in today’s New York Times, New Registration Rules Stir Voter Debate in Ohio , “Republicans say the rules are needed to prevent fraud, but Democrats say they are making it much harder to register the poor.” It turns out the poor are predominantly NOT Republicans. It’s too late to prevent fraud. That took place when the Republican dominated Ohio legislature passed the voter registration law on behalf of J. Kenneth Blackwell, the secretary of state and the Republican gubernatorial candidate. Can you say, “Conflict of interest”? The law’s constitutionality is questionable but by the time it’s challenged and gets through the courts, the election will either be over or it will be too late to undo the damage. I knew that fishy smell wasn’t just the Cuyahoga River.
We need a state government that’s accountable. I assure you the Weasels will not get my vote and I encourage every eligible voter in the state, regardless of political persuasion, to vote to remove the incumbent weasels and keep the weasels out of office. Weasels are not our friends.
