Comparatively, It Was Better

Today’s Quote: “That’s the hardest part, finding the source. Air is very dynamic.” — Christopher Haas, a specialist in hazardous materials, on the sulfur smell that lingered over New York City and New Jersey. (Like, duh?)

Aside from being hungry, today was a better day than yesterday. I was much calmer and less stressed. While no where near perfect, it was sort of okay. I got to do my lunchtime workout; I worked up a good sweat and made my tired old heart pump. It’s good that I’ve finally found a form of exercise I can tolerate. I won’t go so far as to say I enjoy it but considering my history with exercise, toleration is a very big step. As an added incentive, it seems to be having results. The scale in the fitness room at work weighs me at 190 pounds (my scale at home is closer to 200). the wife says the belly seems to be a bit smaller, and my pants are fitting looser. I’m not down to the next waist size but I’m getting there. By April for sure.
